When we got to Bora Bora, we boarded this
ferry
boat to take us to the main island. The airport is located on a 'motu' at the edge of the lagoon, about 15 minutes away from the main island. |
When we arrived at the airport, I was given a flower lei and Cindy was given a 'lovely' ring of flowers for her hair, she wore it anyway... It is customary for everyone to receive a flower lei upon arrival and a shell lei upon departure. |
